Information about this clinical experience:

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
Reproductive Andrology and Male Infertility
The physician has served as a faculty member in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology at such places as Harvard Medical School, Stanford University School of Medicine, and UCLA School of Medicine. The doctor has published and presented extensively, having authored many articles, abstracts, and book chapters.
What gives the doctor tremendous joy is utilizing experience and knowledge to help people become parents. The physician creates a warm and supportive environment for patients. The doctor's other passion is teaching. The preceptor has been teaching international medical students and graduates for years. The physician considers himself a mentor, and strives to help students reach their goals. During the rotation, the doctor encourages students to write, and has been successful in partnering with students to develop case reports, journal articles, and book chapters.

Who should consider this rotation:

How to obtain a letter of recommendation:

Dr. Desai has provided the physician with guidelines about best practices in letter writing that meet residency program requirements. In some cases, the preceptor may ask the rotator to write a letter of recommendation draft.

Our team will be checking in periodically with you to ensure that you are having an optimal experience. We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions during the rotation.
Testimonials
This rotation has been such a valuable opportunity—not only to deepen my medical knowledge, but also to learn how to interact with patients and caregivers in a primary care setting. Since it was my first rotation, I wasn’t yet comfortable speaking in English, but I truly appreciated how patient and encouraging you were throughout. Following you made me want to become a better doctor myself.
