Testimonials
The preceptor and environment was nurturing from day 1. I felt actively involved as part of the team. There was constant teaching and discussion. It could be based on clinical cases or areas where I was weak. We would often review conditions with articles or reference text books. I was always be asked if I had any questions throughout the day. It was easy to converse about anything medical or non medical. Other providers in the office were also very welcoming and taught me a great deal. There was never a moment where I thought I was not taking part or learning something. By the end of the rotation I had broadened my understanding of epilepsy, headaches, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Parkinson’s plus syndromes, myasthenia gravis, traumatic brain injury, dystonia, CIDP and more. Particular highlights included a large exposure to nerve conduction studies, emg and Botox, and learning all of the new infusion treatments available for various conditions.
