How to obtain a letter of recommendation:
The rotator should ask the preceptor for a LOR near the conclusion of the rotation. Testimonials
This is the one of the best rotations I had so far, the doctor has communicated his goals and expectations on the day 1. The clinic caters to a varied set of ethnic groups - everyone in the clinic are enthusiastic in teaching and appreciative of collaborative efforts as team...The Dr has taught about every procedure that
happens in the clinic and allows the students to assist in ablation procedures. He has also taught us on interpreting PET scans and Echo. Overall, this is a very balanced rotation where you get a peek into the cardiology ranging from outpatient clinic to Cath lab procedures. The doctor also takes the students with him to Cath lab where he teaches on how to put central lines and procedures cardiac wise. He has also giving guidance on how to address the upcoming matching season and is also willing to mentor students.
