Outpatient US Clinical Experience in Pediatric Cardiology

What you will do:

You will be under the supervision of a board-certified pediatric cardiologist. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He is on staff at St. Joseph's Children Hospital, Brandon Regional Hospital, and Advent Health. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Cardiology. He completed his residency training in pediatrics in the Midwest before he moved to Florida to complete his fellowship training. He has been recognized for his expertise in diagnosis and treatment as well as the delivery of compassionate care in multiple patient reviews which describe him as "amazing."He has many years of experience as an educator with students rotating through his practice.

After a few days of observation, you will take on an increasing role in patient encounters and learn the following under the preceptor’s supervision:​
