Outpatient US Clinical Experience in Dermatology

What you will do:

You will be under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist who completed her dermatology residency at Washington University in St. Louis. She has hospital privileges at Missouri Baptist Medical Center and SSM Health Missouri.

She is the recipient of grants from the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She also enjoys speaking about important issues in dermatology, and has given talks at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting. She is widely regarded as an excellent educator, and she makes teaching a priority in her office.

You will also have the opportunity to work with the nurse practitioner in the practice. As many dermatologists have NPs or PAs, this will allow you to see the role these mid-level providers play in the practice of dermatology.
