Inpatient US Clinical Experience in Anesthesiology
What you will do:
This is an inpatient experience during which you will be under the supervision of a board certified anesthesiologist. After completing his anesthesiology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, he has practiced for many years. In addition to delivering high quality patient care, he is committed to educating future physicians. He is involved in the education of family medicine residents. He is on staff at DeTar Healthcare System and at Citizen's Memorial Hospital.

This rotation will take place in the hospital setting and at an outpatient surgery center. Please note that the preceptor takes call once per week as well as one weekend of the month. Rotators will have opportunities to take part in these calls.

Among the cases you will take part in include orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, and cardiovascular surgery.
